How do I become an Activator?
To become an Activator, you can apply for our leadership development program, designed to equip young people with the skills and network to drive meaningful change. Visit our Join Us page for details on eligibility and the application process.
Can I join the Network without being an Activator?
Yes! While Activators form the core of our Network, anyone passionate about social change is welcome to join and engage with our community, access resources, and support our campaigns.
How can I get involved in a campaign?
There are many ways to get involved, from participating in events to spreading awareness or volunteering. Explore our current campaigns to find one that aligns with your passion.
Where can I make a donation?
You can make a donation online, by EFT, or even by sponsoring a specific event. Head over to our Contribute page for easy ways to support our work.
What volunteering opportunities are available?
We offer a range of opportunities, from helping at events to supporting day-to-day operations. Check our Volunteer page to see how your skills and time can make an impact.
Are there remote volunteering options available?

Become an Activator today
An Activator is an active young person who has gone through the ACD programme and is part of a network of young change drivers who are passionate about community development. The training of Activators began in 2012: more than 4 000 young people have undergone the training in all nine provinces of South Africa. As both individuals and networks, Activators have strongly influenced policy platforms and forums and decision-making structures.
